Artificial Intelligence will be king of the ball. Many experts and futurists agree that AI will be one of the main trends in IT in the coming year. For example, let’s look at an article by Bernard Marr, a well-known researcher in this field. He argues that many people don’t even notice how densely AI is embedded in our lives. People use it when searching for information on the Internet, shopping online, choosing ways to entertain themselves, and so on.

It’s hard to disagree with Marr. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, expresses the same thought. His quote, “AI is a more important invention than fire or electricity in terms of the development it will have on civilization.

Even if you are not directly connected to the world of technology, you should consider the impact of Artificial Intelligence on people’s lives. One consequence of its development will be the removal of many professions from value chains and their replacement by robots controlled by digital brains.

Yeah, it sounds a little apocalyptic. Nevertheless, where some doors close, others open. It is quite possible that in 2023 we will see an increase in the list of professions related to creating, training, and maintaining AI models.

What about the meta-universes?

The years 2021 and 2022 were a time of rapid boom in meta-universes. Every corner was talking about them, Mark Zuckerberg renamed his company and invested a lot of money to create his own service, and big brands were creating their points of presence on major platforms. Decentraland and Sandbox are the biggest meta-universes right now. And they gather around several million users every month.

In 2023, according to Bernard Marr and David Groombridge, an expert of the analytical agency Gartner, meta universes will continue their development.

They think that the use of this technology will cease to be something innovative. It will become a necessity for most brands, large and small. This will happen mainly because of the development of technologies like VR, smart glasses, and suits with haptic feedback.

The post-covid world is also more favorable to meta-universes because of their usefulness for work. You can now do your job from home and see your co-workers as if you were sitting at the same desk. It’s impressive!

Do you think metaverse is our future for real? Tell what you think in the comments.

Watch the video to the end, to know what our world will look like in the near future.
